Hollopci Recipe From Grandma Waz
Ingredients
4 lg Onions chopped up fine, sauté in butter
2 med heads of New cabbage
4 cups of rice
1 1/2 lb hamburger
1 lg Libby's tomato juice
Preparation
large pot of water, when it comes to a boil, head of cabbage in to loosen leaves. After leaves have separated from head cut a hard trunk (to roll easier) use cut pieces to the bottom of the roaster. After rice has cooked add raw meat and onions to it then salt and pepper to mixture. Using large roasting pan with cut up pieces at bottom.
To roll one scoop in large leaves. first roll and fold ends over while rolling. large Hollobci on bottom smaller ones on top. then pour tomatoe juice over all
Cook 3 hours at 350 degrees
