Crab Dip
Ingredients
1 lb Maryand Crab
8 oz cream cheese
1 tbs heavy cream
4 tbs mayonnaise
1 tbs sour cream
1 tbs mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes of celery salt
2 dashes of Old Bay seasoning
2 oz of Sherry (good strong flavor type - cheap is ok)
4 oz of Cheddar Cheese shredded
Optional: 2 -3 dashes of hot sauce.
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Soften cream cheese in mixing bowl
Mix all ingredients, Except crab meat and cheddar cheese
Slowly fold in crab meat into mixing bowl, careful not to break crab lumps too much
Pour into backing dish
Bake for 45 minutes with cover on
Remove cover and add cheddar cheese on top.
Bake and additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
Caution, don't over cook, as doing so breaks down the cream cheese and the dip becomes watery.
